What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Closet Storage Concepts's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering all expenses related to the construction or remodeling of their showroom. While Closet Storage Concepts will provide advice, guidance, and general layout plans for the showroom's design upon site approval, they do not handle the actual construction or remodeling work.

This means that prospective Closet Storage Concepts franchisees need to factor in these potentially significant costs when evaluating the overall investment required to start the franchise. These costs can vary widely depending on the size and location of the showroom, as well as the extent of any necessary renovations or modifications to meet Closet Storage Concepts's brand standards and local building codes.

Furthermore, the franchisee is responsible for ensuring that the showroom construction complies with all local building codes, ordinances, and requirements. This includes obtaining all necessary building, health, and sign permits and licenses. Therefore, franchisees should consult with local contractors and regulatory authorities to understand the specific requirements and costs associated with constructing or remodeling a Closet Storage Concepts showroom in their chosen location.
