What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Closet Storage Concepts' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must properly maintain their franchised business at all times. This includes periodic repainting of both the exterior and interior of the premises. Franchisees are also responsible for all maintenance and repairs to fixtures, furnishings, uniforms, signs, and equipment. These maintenance and repair activities are essential to keep the business running according to the standards outlined in the Operations Manual and as reasonably directed by Closet Storage Concepts.

Closet Storage Concepts also requires franchisees to modernize their business premises, equipment (including electronic cash register or computer hardware and software systems), signs, interior and exterior decor items, fixtures, furnishings, supplies, and other products and materials required for the operation of the Closet & Storage Concepts business as reasonably required by Franchisor to reflect the then current standards and image of the System as contained in the Operations Manual or otherwise provided in writing by Franchisor. These standards are put in place to maintain a consistent brand image and quality across all franchise locations.

Furthermore, if a franchisee chooses to renew their franchise agreement, they must repair or replace equipment (including electronic cash register or computer hardware or software systems), signs, interior and exterior decor items, fixtures, or furnishings, supplies and other products and materials required for the operation of the Closet & Storage Concepts business as Closet Storage Concepts may reasonably require. This ensures that all locations meet the current standards and image of the Closet Storage Concepts system at the time of renewal.
