What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Closet Storage Concepts's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may be allowed to operate the Franchised Business out of more than one location under certain conditions. Specifically, Closet Storage Concepts may permit a franchisee to operate out of multiple locations within their granted territory under their existing franchise agreement if the franchisor feels demand requires it.

This allowance provides an opportunity for Closet Storage Concepts franchisees to expand their business within their existing territory without needing to enter into a new franchise agreement, potentially reducing costs and simplifying operations. However, the decision to allow multiple locations is at the discretion of Closet Storage Concepts, meaning franchisees cannot automatically assume they will be able to open additional locations.

For a prospective franchisee, this indicates that while there is potential for expansion, it is not guaranteed and depends on the franchisor's assessment of market demand. It would be prudent for potential franchisees to discuss the criteria and process for requesting and obtaining approval for additional locations during their due diligence to understand the likelihood and conditions under which such expansion might be possible.
