What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Closet Storage Concepts FDD, franchisees are required to answer the telephone in a specific manner, as detailed in the Operations Manual. This ensures consistency and adherence to the brand's standards across all franchise locations. Franchisees must also obtain a new telephone number and listing under the Closet & Storage Concepts name, not their own corporate or individual name, and use it exclusively for the franchised business. This phone number must be part of a suitable telephone system approved by Closet Storage Concepts.

Upon termination or non-renewal of the franchise agreement, the franchisee must discontinue using the designated telephone number and transfer it to Closet Storage Concepts or their designee. This provision ensures that Closet Storage Concepts maintains control over its brand identity and customer communications.

Furthermore, franchisees are required to execute a Telephone, Internet Websites and Listing Agreement, which is included as an exhibit in the Franchise Agreement. This agreement likely outlines additional requirements and guidelines for telephone usage, internet presence, and business listings. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the Operations Manual and the Telephone, Internet Websites and Listing Agreement to fully understand their obligations regarding telephone communication standards and procedures.
