What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Closet Storage Concepts' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisee contributions to the National Advertising Program (NAP) can be used for a variety of purposes at the franchisor's discretion. These include the development, production, and distribution of both national and local advertising campaigns. The funds may also be allocated to creating advertising materials and public relations initiatives designed to promote the products and services offered by Closet Storage Concepts businesses.
NAP funds may also be used for purchasing media, implementing field marketing programs and activities, and supporting promotions. Additionally, Closet Storage Concepts may invest in new product research and development, quality control measures, and mystery shopper programs, which could involve call recording for quality assurance. Market research, talent fees, and the engagement of public relations firms are also listed as potential uses for the NAP contributions.
Furthermore, Closet Storage Concepts may use the NAP funds for website and social media development and maintenance, as well as for establishing or maintaining a presence in virtual worlds. The NAP can also cover administrative, travel, debt service, operating costs, and overhead expenses related to the advertising and marketing programs. Closet Storage Concepts retains the sole right to determine how the NAP contributions are spent and is not obligated to spend any amount in a franchisee's specific territory, nor are all franchisees guaranteed to benefit directly or on a pro rata basis from these expenditures.
