What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Closet Storage Concepts's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, when constructing your showroom, you must comply with all local building codes, ordinances, and requirements. Additionally, you are responsible for obtaining all required building, health, and sign permits and licenses.

Closet Storage Concepts will provide advice, guidance, and general layout plans for the showroom after the site is approved by them. However, the franchisee is responsible for all costs associated with the construction or remodeling of the showroom. This is a standard practice in franchising, where the franchisee typically bears the financial burden of setting up the location to meet the franchisor's brand standards and legal requirements.

It is important for prospective Closet Storage Concepts franchisees to factor in these costs and compliance requirements when evaluating the overall investment. Failing to comply with local regulations can result in delays, fines, or even the inability to open the showroom, so adherence to these rules is crucial.
