What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Closet Storage Concepts' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company does not anticipate owning the showroom premises for its franchisees. However, Closet Storage Concepts does reserve the right to own the premises.

As part of the pre-opening assistance, Closet Storage Concepts will assist franchisees in negotiating a lease for the showroom site that the franchisee selects. The lease is subject to Closet Storage Concepts' approval or disapproval, which is generally given within 30 days after the franchisee submits a written copy of the lease. Closet Storage Concepts recommends that franchisees consult with an attorney experienced in reviewing leases for commercial locations.

This arrangement means that franchisees are typically responsible for securing and managing their showroom locations, including lease negotiations and related expenses. While Closet Storage Concepts offers assistance in site selection and lease negotiation, the ultimate responsibility lies with the franchisee. The reservation of rights means that Closet Storage Concepts could choose to purchase the premises, but this is not the anticipated arrangement.
