What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cinnaholic's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Cinnaholic may charge franchisees for onsite assistance and training at their bakery. While Cinnaholic may offer counseling and advisory services at its offices, or via telephone or email, at no expense to the franchisee, it reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for unusual, extensive, or extraordinary assistance requested by the franchisee.
Specifically, if a Cinnaholic franchisee requests onsite assistance and training at their bakery and Cinnaholic's personnel are available, Cinnaholic reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for this onsite assistance. In addition to the fee, the franchisee is responsible for reimbursing Cinnaholic for expenses and costs incurred while rendering such assistance.
This means that while some initial support is provided, franchisees should be prepared to cover costs for additional or onsite training and assistance. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as it allows the franchisor to recoup costs associated with providing specialized support while also ensuring franchisees are invested in receiving the help they request.
