Can Cinnaholic restrict franchisees from soliciting any customers?
Cinnaholic Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
We will not restrict you from soliciting any customers, no matter who they are or where they are located. However, you may only sell products to consumers for consumer purposes (and not for resale). You may not sell products at wholesale. In addition, you may provide delivery and catering services from the Bakery within or without your Franchise Territory in connection with providing these delivery and catering services within a reasonable distance from the site of the Bakery not to exceed 10 miles, provided the deliveries are made by ground transportation. Subject to this maximum mileage requirement, you may provide catering and delivery services in the Franchise Territories of other CINNAHOLIC® franchisees, and other CINNAHOLIC® franchisees may provide the same services in your Franchise Territory. You may not ship products within or without your Franchise Territory.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cinnaholic's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Cinnaholic will not restrict franchisees from soliciting customers. Franchisees are permitted to solicit any customers, regardless of who they are or where they are located. However, franchisees are restricted to selling products to consumers for consumer purposes only and are prohibited from selling products at wholesale.
Cinnaholic franchisees can provide delivery and catering services from their bakery within or outside their franchise territory, provided that these services are within a reasonable distance, not exceeding 10 miles from the bakery, using ground transportation. Franchisees may offer catering and delivery services in other Cinnaholic franchise territories, and vice versa, subject to the same mileage restrictions. Shipping products within or outside the franchise territory is not allowed.
These stipulations ensure that Cinnaholic franchisees have the freedom to attract customers through solicitation, but they must adhere to specific guidelines regarding the type of sales (retail only), the scope of delivery and catering services, and the prohibition of shipping products. This allows franchisees to grow their customer base while maintaining the brand's standards and operational procedures.
