Who is responsible for obtaining the licenses and permits required to operate a Cinnaholic bakery?

According to Cinnaholic's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is solely responsible for obtaining all licenses and permits needed to operate their Cinnaholic bakery. This includes, but is not limited to, licenses and permits related to zoning, disability access, signage, fire and safety, fictitious name registrations, sales tax registration, and health and sanitation.

This means that prospective Cinnaholic franchisees must research and understand all local, state, and federal regulations impacting their bakery. They will need to manage the application processes, pay associated fees, and ensure ongoing compliance with these regulations. Failure to obtain the necessary licenses and permits can result in fines, penalties, or even the closure of the Cinnaholic bakery.
