During the operation of your Bakery, we will:
- (a) Give you periodic guidance (as we deem necessary) about (i) the methods and procedures to be utilized at the Bakery; (ii) advertising and promotion; (iii) recipes, food formulas and specifications; (iv) bookkeeping and accounting; (v) purchasing and inventory control; (vi) inspections; and (vii) new developments and improvements to the CINNAHOLIC® franchise system. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Cinnaholic Franchise Disclosure Document, Cinnaholic will provide periodic guidance, as deemed necessary, regarding bookkeeping and accounting methods and procedures to be utilized at the bakery. This is part of the services Cinnaholic offers during the operation of the bakery.
Cinnaholic also requires franchisees to install a Point of Sale (POS) system before opening their bakery. The POS system, which includes a cash drawer, credit card machine, and optional receipt printer, is used to post product and service sales, manage inventory, post sales tax, refunds, and credits, and maintain customer information. The initial cost of the POS system, including one year of support services, is approximately $1,000 to $2,000. Franchisees are responsible for maintaining the POS system and upgrading it as required by Cinnaholic.
In addition to the POS system, Cinnaholic may require franchisees to install computer systems meeting their standards and specifications to assist in the bakery's operation. Cinnaholic will have the right to access the information generated by these computer systems. Franchisees are also required to maintain credit card, debit card, or other non-cash payment systems that Cinnaholic requires. Cinnaholic will also have access to the franchisee's information and data on the Portal.
