What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Cinnaholic's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Developer (franchisee) must provide Cinnaholic with written notice at least 10 days before pouring the concrete slab for the bakery. This advance notice allows Cinnaholic to inspect the construction site. The Developer must also notify Cinnaholic immediately after completing the electrical and mechanical rough-ins, again to facilitate an inspection of the construction site.

Cinnaholic retains the right to inspect the construction site at any reasonable time, with or without prior notice. The Developer is responsible for correcting any deviations from the approved site or construction plans at their own expense, should Cinnaholic identify any issues during these inspections.

These requirements ensure Cinnaholic maintains quality control and brand consistency across all franchise locations. While Cinnaholic has the right to inspect and request corrections, it assumes no responsibility for the quality of construction or the performance of any contractors or architects, even if those professionals were designated or approved by Cinnaholic. This places the ultimate responsibility for the bakery's construction and adherence to specifications on the Developer.
