What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cinnaholic's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a developer must provide written notice to Cinnaholic at least 10 days before pouring the concrete slab for the bakery. This advance notice allows Cinnaholic to inspect the construction site.
Cinnaholic and its agents retain the right to inspect the construction site at any reasonable time without prior notice. This is in addition to the 10-day notice required before pouring the concrete slab. The developer is responsible for correcting any deviations from the accepted site or construction plans and specifications at their own expense, should Cinnaholic request it.
This requirement ensures Cinnaholic can monitor the construction process and maintain brand standards. It is important for prospective franchisees to factor this timeline into their construction schedule to avoid delays. While Cinnaholic has the right to inspect, they assume no responsibility for the quality of construction due to these inspections, nor are they liable for the performance of any contractor or architect retained by the developer, even if designated by Cinnaholic.
