What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Cinnaholic Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is not strictly limited to providing catering and delivery services within their exclusive territory. Cinnaholic allows franchisees to offer catering and delivery services within a reasonable distance, defined as up to 10 miles from the franchised site. This 10-mile radius extends both within and outside the franchisee's territory, provided the services are delivered via ground transportation.

This arrangement permits a Cinnaholic franchisee to provide catering and delivery services even into other franchisees' exclusive territories, and vice versa. This means that franchisees may face competition from other Cinnaholic locations when it comes to catering and delivery orders. The FDD emphasizes that these activities are allowed as long as they adhere to the specified mileage and transportation method.

This policy aims to balance the need for franchisees to grow their businesses through catering and delivery with the territorial protections granted to each location. Prospective Cinnaholic franchisees should consider the competitive landscape for catering and delivery services within their area and the surrounding territories. Understanding the potential for overlap and competition is crucial for developing effective marketing and operational strategies.
