What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Cinnaholic Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is granted the non-exclusive right and license to develop and operate a Cinnaholic Bakery, contingent upon several factors. The franchisee must agree to develop and operate the Cinnaholic Bakery and use the Marks and the Cinnaholic system in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement only at the Franchised Site. The franchisee must use the Marks and Cinnaholic System as they are changed, improved and further developed by Cinnaholic from time to time. Unless otherwise agreed to by Cinnaholic, the franchisee has 12 months from the Effective Date to complete the initial training as required by Section 14.1 and to commence operation of the Bakery. The franchisee must obtain Cinnaholic's written approval before commencing operation of the Bakery.
This means that a prospective Cinnaholic franchisee must adhere to the brand's standards, complete the required training within a year, and secure written approval from Cinnaholic before opening their bakery. This ensures that each location maintains the quality and consistency associated with the Cinnaholic brand. The franchisee must also secure a location that is approved by Cinnaholic.
These stipulations are typical in franchising, as they protect the brand's reputation and ensure a uniform customer experience across all locations. Franchisees should pay close attention to the timelines and approval processes to avoid delays in opening their Cinnaholic Bakery. Franchisees should also be aware that they must operate the bakery at the Franchised Site.
