What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Cinnaholic Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee typically has 12 months from the effective date of the franchise agreement to complete initial training and begin operating their bakery. This timeline is contingent upon receiving written approval from Cinnaholic before commencing operations.

This requirement ensures that franchisees are adequately prepared and that the Cinnaholic brand standards are met from the outset. The initial training, as mentioned in Section 14.1 of the franchise agreement, is a crucial step in understanding and implementing the Cinnaholic system.

However, there is another clause that states a franchisee must commence operation within 14 months after the execution of the agreement. The 14 month deadline to commence operation could be extended if agreed to in writing by Cinnaholic, at their sole discretion. Prospective franchisees should clarify with Cinnaholic which deadline applies and under what conditions an extension might be granted.
