What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Cinnaholic's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, some of their current approved suppliers include Sysco Foods and Tom Tedrow Architects. Cinnaholic may designate single or multiple suppliers for items such as food products, supplies, ingredients, equipment, furnishings, employee uniforms, fixtures, inventory, paper products, and packaging. These items must comply with Cinnaholic's standards and specifications and come from suppliers approved in writing by Cinnaholic.

Prospective franchisees should note that Cinnaholic reserves the right to designate itself or its affiliates as approved or sole suppliers in the future. If this happens, franchisees would be required to purchase those items directly from Cinnaholic or its affiliates at their current prices, which may include a markup, surcharge, and handling fee. The Operations Manual and other communications will list the standards, specifications, and names of approved or designated suppliers.

Cinnaholic also has the right to receive payments or other benefits, such as rebates, discounts, and allowances, from authorized suppliers based on their dealings with franchisees. For example, in the fiscal year ended December 31, 2024, Cinnaholic received $3,735 in rebates from Fun Express, $22,000 in rebates from Ventura Foods, and $6,523 in rebates from Saebert. These supplier relationships and potential revenue streams are important for franchisees to understand as they consider their operating costs and potential profitability.

If a franchisee wishes to use a supplier that is not already approved, they must submit a written request for approval, and the proposed supplier may need to undergo an evaluation process, potentially including facility inspections and the payment of fees. Cinnaholic estimates that purchases from designated or approved suppliers, or according to their standards and specifications, will represent 80% or more of the initial establishment costs and approximately 90% of the total operating costs for the Cinnaholic Bakery.
