Point of Sale Computer System. You must purchase a point of sale ("POS") system defined in Item 11. We will designate one or more suppliers for the particular POS system. We have the right to appoint additional suppliers for these POS system or other POS systems we may designate. Neither our affiliates nor we derive revenue from your purchase of a POS system. We may require you to maintain support service contracts and/or maintenance service contracts and implement and periodically make upgrades and changes to the POS system, computer hardware and software, and credit card, debit card and other noncash payment systems. According to Cinnaholic's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must purchase a point of sale (POS) system, and Cinnaholic designates the supplier. Currently, Cinnaholic uses the Square POS System. The cost of the POS system is approximately $1,200, plus $500 for installation.
This means a new Cinnaholic franchisee can expect to pay around $500 for the installation of the required Square POS system, in addition to the $1,200 cost for the system itself. It is important to note that Cinnaholic can change the designated POS system and appoint additional suppliers.
Furthermore, franchisees are required to maintain support service contracts and/or maintenance service contracts for the POS system and implement upgrades and changes. The monthly fee for the Square POS system is currently $179, which franchisees must also factor into their ongoing operating expenses. These costs are subject to change.
