What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Churchs Chicken Franchise Disclosure Document, Cajun, which seems to act as the franchisor, has the discretion to modify the specifications and standards for fixtures, furnishings, equipment, and signs that are approved for Churchs Chicken restaurants. This includes items like fryers, grills, ovens, warmers, refrigerators, freezers, waste disposal units, dishwashers and display cases, as well as signs including digital menu boards.
This means that a Churchs Chicken franchisee must stay updated on any changes to these standards and specifications, as they are subject to change at any time. Franchisees are required to use only the fixtures, furnishings, equipment, and signs that Cajun has approved. These items must meet Cajun's standards for quality, design, appearance, function, and performance.
The franchisee is responsible for adhering to these changes to maintain uniformity and quality across all Churchs Chicken locations. This also ensures that the restaurants reflect the current brand image and meet operational standards set by Cajun.
