How may Churchs Chicken supplement or amend the Manual?

According to Churchs Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the brand may supplement or amend its Manual from time to time. These changes can be communicated through various channels, including letters, electronic mail, updates to the www.TeamChurchs.com website, bulletins, digital video disks, compact disks, USB flash drives, software, or other forms of communication.

For a prospective franchisee, this means that the operating procedures and standards outlined in the Manual are subject to change. Franchisees must stay informed of these revisions and adhere to them. The multiple methods of communication ensure that franchisees have various ways to receive updates, but it also places the onus on the franchisee to regularly check these channels for changes.

It is important to note that while Churchs Chicken can revise the Manual, these revisions will not alter a franchisee's status and rights under their Franchise Agreement and/or their Development Agreement. The Manual contains detailed standards, specifications, instructions, requirements, methods, and procedures for the development, management, and operation of the Restaurant. This includes requirements related to the selection, purchase, storage, preparation, packaging, ingredients, recipes, service and sale of all products and beverages sold at the Restaurant; training on System standards; marketing, advertising and sales promotions; maintenance and repair; employee dress attire; menu concept and graphics; and accounting, bookkeeping, records retention and other business systems, procedures and operations.

Given the dynamic nature of business and the need for standardization in franchise operations, it is common for franchisors to update their manuals periodically. Franchisees should maintain open communication with Churchs Chicken and regularly review all provided communication channels to ensure compliance with the latest standards and procedures.
