What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Churchs Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may only offer products and menu items that meet Churchs Chicken's standards and have been approved in writing. Franchisees must also offer for sale all menu items that Churchs Chicken specifies in the Manual or otherwise in writing.

Churchs Chicken has the right to require franchisees to begin selling newly required menu items and to stop selling menu items that are no longer authorized within 30 days of receiving notice. Churchs Chicken may also restrict sales of menu items to certain time periods during the day. However, franchisees have the discretion to establish menu prices.

Franchisees are prohibited from adding or modifying any menu item or participating in a test market program without first obtaining Churchs Chicken's approval. If Churchs Chicken requires a franchisee to offer a new menu item that necessitates the purchase of additional equipment, a reasonable timeframe will be provided for the financing, purchase, and installation of such equipment before the new menu items must be available for sale.
