Before attending the Training Program you must successfully satisfy all the requirements of our Pathway to Excellence Team Training Program which is focused on the line level tasks performed in a Restaurant, including, but not limited to, product preparation procedures and recipes, customer service, food safety, and facility cleanliness and maintenance. The Pathway to Excellence Advanced Operations and Leadership Training Program builds on this knowledge base and addresses management responsibilities
related to these tasks such as scheduling, cash management, inventory control, ordering, sales generation and profitability.
All Training and Development Department personnel have extensive experience in operations with us and other food service companies. Our training staff has the responsibility of developing and delivering training programs and training support materials. We employ the following individuals on our training staff:
Director, Global Operations Training: Bouran Qaddumi. Ms. Qaddumi has been involved with our training program since 2016.

According to Churchs Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Pathways to Excellence Training Program is a key component of the overall training provided to franchisees and their employees. Before attending the main Training Program, franchisees must satisfy the requirements of the Pathway to Excellence Team Training Program, which focuses on line-level tasks within a Churchs Chicken restaurant. This includes product preparation, customer service, food safety, and maintaining cleanliness.
The Pathways to Excellence Advanced Operations and Leadership Training Program builds upon the knowledge gained in the team training program. It addresses management responsibilities related to tasks such as scheduling, cash management, inventory control, ordering, sales generation, and profitability. This advanced training is designed to equip managers with the skills necessary to effectively run a Churchs Chicken restaurant.
Churchs Chicken uses the Pathways to Excellence Training Program materials, including e-learning modules, job aids, videos, and the Operations Manual, as instructional materials for the Training Program. All training takes place at a Certified Training Restaurant (CTR). The franchisor also lends franchisees one copy of the Pathways to Excellence Training Program materials, which are considered part of the Operations Manual, to be used in training restaurant employees on the System standards.
