What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Churchs Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the manager training fee is due before attending training. The cost of the training program itself constitutes the fee amount.
For new Churchs Chicken developments, the first two manager trainees are not charged a fee under the current policy. However, a fee of $1,250 ($250 per week) applies for each additional manager trainee beyond the first two.
If a franchisee acquires their Churchs Chicken franchise through a transfer, they must pay a $1,250 management training fee for the first two and any subsequent trainees. This differs from new developments where the initial two trainees are fee-exempt. Therefore, prospective franchisees should consider these fee variations based on whether they are starting a new location or acquiring an existing one.
