All training takes place at a Restaurant that Churchs Chicken has approved as a Certified Training Restaurant (CTR).

It contains detailed standards, specifications, instructions, requirements, methods, and procedures for the development, management, and operation of a Churchs Chicken Restaurant. The manual covers various aspects such as product selection, preparation, marketing, maintenance, and business systems. The manual is provided to franchisees either in physical or electronic format and remains the property of Churchs Chicken, subject to revisions.

Before attending the Training Program, franchisees must successfully complete the Pathway to Excellence Team Training Program, which focuses on line-level tasks. The Pathway to Excellence Advanced Operations and Leadership Training Program builds upon this knowledge, addressing management responsibilities such as scheduling, cash management, and inventory control. The training program is designed to educate franchisees and their managers in all phases of the quick-service restaurant industry as it relates to operating a Churchs Chicken Restaurant.
