What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Churchs Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is not required to be a member of more than one Regional Advertising Cooperative with respect to their franchised restaurant. Churchs Chicken, at its sole discretion, may establish a Regional Advertising Cooperative in the regional area where the franchised restaurant is located.

If a Cooperative has been established for the Designated Market Area (DMA) in which the Franchised Restaurant will be located, the franchisee must become a member by the date the Franchised Restaurant commences operations. If a Cooperative for that DMA is established after the Franchised Restaurant opens, the franchisee must become a member within 30 days after the date on which the Cooperative commences operations.

These cooperatives are organized to administer regional advertising programs and develop standardized promotional materials, subject to Churchs Chicken's approval, for use by its members in local advertising. Franchisees are entitled to vote on Cooperative matters, unless they are in default under their franchise agreement or any other agreement with Churchs Chicken or its affiliates.
