Franchisee understands and acknowledges the importance of Cajun's high and uniform standards of quality, operations and service and the necessity of developing and operating the Franchised Restaurant in strict conformity with this Agreement and Cajun's Manual (as defined in Section 6).
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of Cajun's grant to Franchisee of the rights set forth in this Agreement, as well as the mutual covenants, agreements and obligations set forth below, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows:

The 2025 Churchs Chicken Franchise Disclosure Document states that franchisees must operate their restaurants in strict compliance with the standards and specifications established by Cajun, the operator. Franchisees acknowledge the importance of Churchs Chicken's high and uniform standards of quality, operations, and service, and the necessity of operating in strict conformity with the Franchise Agreement and Churchs Chicken's Manual.
Churchs Chicken franchisees are responsible for hiring and training their employees in accordance with System standards. Franchisees must also ensure their employees act in a manner that meets these standards. Additionally, franchisees must prominently display approved signs and logos and are restricted from using unapproved signs or equipment.
Cajun, however, may change or modify the System, including the Manual, and franchisees will be required to make such expenditures as such changes or modifications in the System may require. As part of the System, franchisees are required to purchase supplies only from vendors approved by Cajun. These stipulations reinforce the franchisee's commitment to adhering to the franchisor's established operational framework and any subsequent modifications.
