The proposed transferee (and if the proposed transferee is other than an individual, such owners of an interest in the transferee as Cajun may request) must demonstrate that it has extensive experience in high quality restaurant operations of a character and complexity similar to the restaurants franchised by Cajun or its affiliates; meets the managerial, operational, experience, quality, character and business standards for a franchisee promulgated by Cajun from time to time; possesses a good character, business reputation and credit rating; has an organization whose management culture is compatible with Cajun's management culture; and has adequate financial resources and working capital to meet Franchisee's obligations under this Agreement.

According to the 2025 Churchs Chicken Franchise Disclosure Document, a proposed transferee must demonstrate extensive experience in high-quality restaurant operations similar in character and complexity to those franchised by Churchs Chicken or its affiliates. Churchs Chicken retains sole discretion in deciding whether to approve a proposed transfer, considering numerous factors beyond just experience. These factors ensure that the transferee will maintain the standards and reputation of the Churchs Chicken brand. The proposed transferee and certain employees may also be required to complete the NFOP and MIT programs, as well as any additional training programs that Churchs Chicken requires, unless waived by Churchs Chicken.
