What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Churchs Chicken Franchise Disclosure Document, if the franchisee is a partnership, they must furnish Cajun copies of several documents. These include the franchisee's written partnership agreement, any other governing documents, and any amendments to those documents.
Additionally, the franchisee must provide all agreements among the partners, including buy/sell agreements. The franchisee must also provide evidence that the requisite number or percentage of partners have consented to or approved the entry into and performance of the Franchise Agreement, if such approval or consent is required by the partnership agreement.
Furthermore, Churchs Chicken requires that the franchisee promptly provide copies of any modifications or changes to these governing documents to ensure Cajun has the most up-to-date information. This requirement ensures that Churchs Chicken is fully informed about the structure and operational agreements of its franchisees, allowing them to maintain standards and address any potential issues related to the partnership's governance.
