Is a Churchs Chicken developer allowed to bind or obligate Cajun or its affiliates in any way?

Developer agrees that Cajun's final inspection and authorization to open a Franchised Restaurant shall not impose any liability or responsibility on Cajun.
G. All information Developer provided to Cajun in connection with Developer's franchise application and Cajun's grant to Developer of the opportunity to develop Church's Restaurants is truthful, complete and accurate.
H. The persons signing this Agreement on behalf of Developer have full authority to enter into this Agreement and the other agreements contemplated by the parties, including the Franchise Agreement.
Execution of this Agreement or such other agreements by Developer does not and will not conflict with or interfere with, directly or indirectly, intentionally or otherwise, with the terms of any other agreement with any other third party to which Developer or any person with an ownership interest in Developer is a party.
- J. Developer has not received from Cajun or its affiliates, or anyone acting on their behalf, any representation of Developer's potential sales, expenses, income, profit or loss.

Based on the 2025 Churchs Chicken Franchise Disclosure Document, a developer agrees that Cajun's final inspection and authorization to open a Franchised Restaurant shall not impose any liability or responsibility on Cajun. Furthermore, the developer acknowledges that they have not received any representations regarding potential sales, expenses, income, profit, or loss from Churchs Chicken or its affiliates, other than what is contained in the Franchise Disclosure Document. This reinforces that Churchs Chicken is not making any guarantees or promises about the financial performance of the franchise. The developer is responsible for their own financial projections and business decisions.
In addition, the developer acknowledges that all information provided to Churchs Chicken in connection with the franchise application is truthful, complete, and accurate. The developer also confirms that they have the full authority to enter into the Development Agreement and that doing so does not conflict with any other agreements they may have with third parties. This ensures that the developer is legally capable of entering into the agreement and that they have not misrepresented any information to Churchs Chicken.
