What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Churchs Chicken Franchise Disclosure Document, the Cajun Global LLC Disclosure Questionnaire applies to both Franchise Agreements and Development Agreements. The questionnaire aims to determine if any unauthorized, untrue, inaccurate, or misleading statements or promises were made to the prospective franchisee or developer.

However, this questionnaire does not apply if the franchise offer or sale is subject to state franchise registration/disclosure laws in California, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin. Furthermore, the questionnaire is not applicable to Maryland residents or if the franchised restaurant is to be located in Maryland.

For a prospective Churchs Chicken franchisee or developer, this means carefully reviewing and honestly answering the questionnaire if it applies to them. It is crucial to understand the implications of the questions and provide complete responses to ensure transparency and avoid potential disputes later on. Franchisees should note the specific states where the questionnaire is not applicable, as this could affect their obligations during the franchise process.
