What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Chesters's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Chesters has the right to conduct additional in-Restaurant visits under specific circumstances. These circumstances include if the Restaurant fails any inspection surveys, if the Restaurant is temporarily closed, or if the franchisee interferes with the inspection process.
If any of these situations occur, Chesters has the right to charge the franchisee $300 for each required revisit. This payment is due via credit card or ACH transfer upon delivery of notice to the franchisee.
Furthermore, the FDD states that if the Restaurant fails the in-Restaurant inspection survey for a third time, Chesters reserves the right to terminate the Franchise Agreement. If the agreement is terminated, the franchisee's post-term obligations, as stated in Section 20 of the Agreement, will commence.
