What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Chesters's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial brand standard training program includes classroom and on-the-job training. The classroom portion of 'Chester’s Story and Training Overview' is 30 minutes. This training takes place at the franchisee's restaurant.

In addition to 'Chester’s Story and Training Overview', the initial training program includes other subjects such as 'Review of Operations Manuals/Recipe Books/Training Guides', 'LSM & Marketing Review', 'MenuBuilder', and 'Restaurant Management'. These additional subjects range from 15 minutes to 2 hours of classroom training. The total initial brand standard training program lasts up to 4 days.

Chesters may also provide periodic brand standard training programs that they deem appropriate. If a franchisee's restaurant fails an inspection or is not prepared for training, Chesters may require additional training at a cost of $1,000 per day. Franchisees are responsible for expenses incurred in attending additional training or refresher training that is not conducted at the Restaurant.
