Answer from 2025 FDD Document

The franchisor is Chester's International, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). "You" means the person to whom we grant a franchise. We are an Alabama limited liability company formed in October 2002 under the name Chester's Supply Company, LLC (we changed to "National Flour Mills and Supply Company, LLC" in April 2004 and changed again to our current name in November 2009). Our current principal business address is 1531 3rd Avenue North, Suite 110, Birmingham, Alabama 35203. We operate under our corporate name, the CHESTER'S® trademark, and the other trademarks described in Item 13 (the "Marks") and no other name.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Chesters Franchise Disclosure Document, the term "Marks" refers to the CHESTER'S® trademark and other trademarks described in Item 13. Chesters operates under its corporate name, the CHESTER'S® trademark, and other trademarks. This is a standard practice in franchising, where the franchisor licenses its trademarks to franchisees for use in operating their businesses. These marks are essential for brand recognition and consistency across all franchised locations.

Chesters grants franchises for quick-service Restaurants operating primarily under the CHESTER'S name that sell chicken and sides. The use of these trademarks is a key component of the franchise agreement, allowing franchisees to benefit from the established brand reputation and marketing efforts associated with the Chesters name.

Prospective franchisees should carefully review Item 13 of the FDD to understand the specific trademarks included in the franchise agreement, as well as any restrictions or requirements related to their use. Understanding the scope and limitations of the licensed trademarks is crucial for operating a Chesters franchise in compliance with the franchise agreement and maintaining brand consistency.
