What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Chesters's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, providing an email address or phone number means you consent to receive communications from them. Specifically, by providing Chesters with a phone number for a cellular or wireless device, you expressly consent to receiving notices and other communications, including voice and text messages, from Chesters at that number. This consent applies to each phone number you provide to Chesters, both now and in the future.
This clause in the franchise agreement allows Chesters to communicate with you via text and voice messages, which could include important updates, notifications, and other business-related communications. As a prospective franchisee, it is important to understand that providing your contact information grants Chesters the right to contact you through these channels.
Before providing your phone number, consider the implications of receiving such communications. If you prefer to limit the ways Chesters can contact you, discuss this with them before signing the agreement. You may want to inquire about the frequency and nature of the messages you can expect to receive and whether there is an option to opt out of certain types of communications.
