What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Chesters's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a trained manager, with the franchisor's prior written approval, may train new and additional restaurant employees. This indicates that a manager's responsibilities include overseeing the training and development of the restaurant staff.
Beyond training, the FDD states that franchisees must operate their Chesters restaurant in compliance with the franchisor's standards for quality, cleanliness, appearance, and service. This implies that a manager would be responsible for ensuring that the restaurant adheres to these standards in its daily operations. They would also need to ensure the restaurant maintains a sufficient supply of approved ingredients, products, materials, supplies, and paper goods, and uses only approved methods for food handling, preparation, and packaging.
In summary, a Chesters restaurant manager's supervision extends to employee training and adherence to the franchisor's operational standards, encompassing quality control, cleanliness, and service protocols. This oversight is crucial for maintaining brand consistency and customer satisfaction.
