What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Chesters's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, once Chesters determines that the restaurant has satisfactorily completed the restaurant readiness review process, certain employees (the number and level of which Chesters specifies) must satisfactorily complete the initial brand standard training program at the location before the restaurant may begin operations.
Chesters may provide additional training programs as deemed appropriate and will advise the franchisee regarding the restaurant's operation and new developments, techniques, and improvements in areas of restaurant management, food preparation, sales promotion, and service.
Chesters also has the right to charge $1,000 per day for any additional training they deem necessary if the restaurant fails an inspection, including not being prepared for training, in Chester's sole discretion, despite indicating otherwise. Payment for this additional training is due by credit card or ACH transfer once Chesters notifies the franchisee of the failed inspection.
