Chesters must provide the disclosure document to a prospective franchisee at least 14 calendar days before they sign a binding agreement or make any payment to Chesters or its affiliates related to the franchise sale. It is important to note that New York and Michigan have specific requirements regarding the timing of the FDD delivery. New York requires delivery at the earlier of the first personal meeting or 10 business days before signing any agreement or making any payment.
