You will use the System to operate a Restaurant. We will provide you with initial basic training and continuing advice and assistance in the operation of your franchise, merchandising and advertising, all as described in this Franchise Disclosure Document. You must operate the Restaurant according to our Franchise Agreement and the standards and specifications in our confidential operations manual ("Manual").
Franchisor (and its affiliates) will not exercise direct or indirect control over the working conditions of Franchised Restaurant personnel, except to the extent such indirect control is related to Franchisor's legitimate interest in protecting the quality of its products, services, or brand. Franchisor (and its affiliates) does not share or codetermine the employment terms and conditions of the Franchised Restaurant's employees and does not affect matters relating to the employment relationship between Franchisee and the Franchised Restaurant's employees, such as employee selection, promotion, termination, hours worked, rates of pay, other benefits, work assigned, discipline, adjustment of grievances and complain
Your Managing Owner and 1 additional employee must attend and complete our full initial training program to our satisfaction. (Franchise Agreement Sections 8.20 and 8.21.) All franchisees must complete the training program, which is approximately 5 weeks in length (1 week of virtual training and 4 weeks of in-shop training). We expect you to complete all pre-opening required training approximately 4 weeks before your Restaurant opens.

According to the 2025 Capriottis Sandwich Shop Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for operating the Restaurant according to the Franchise Agreement and the standards and specifications in the confidential operations manual. Capriottis Sandwich Shop will provide the franchisee with initial basic training and continuing advice and assistance in the operation of their franchise, merchandising, and advertising.
The franchisee, referred to as "you" in the document, must also ensure that a Managing Owner and one additional employee attend and complete the full initial training program to the satisfaction of Capriottis Sandwich Shop. This training program is approximately 5 weeks in length, consisting of 1 week of virtual training and 4 weeks of in-shop training. The franchisee is expected to complete all pre-opening required training approximately 4 weeks before the Restaurant opens.
While Capriottis Sandwich Shop offers support and training, the franchisee has the ultimate responsibility for day-to-day management and adherence to the brand's standards. This includes implementing the content of any meetings or training events to their employees, regardless of their attendance. The franchisor will not exercise direct or indirect control over the working conditions of Franchised Restaurant personnel, except to the extent such indirect control is related to Franchisor's legitimate interest in protecting the quality of its products, services, or brand.
