What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 C3 Wellness Spa Franchise Disclosure Document, the C3 Wellness Spa system includes topical skin treatments. The FDD defines a "Competitive Business" as one similar to a C3 Wellness Spa, including businesses that offer topical skin treatments. Additionally, the recitals section of the agreement states that C3 Wellness Spa has developed a system for the operation of a spa that offers topical skin treatments as part of its approved spa products and services.
This inclusion of topical skin treatments as part of the C3 Wellness Spa system and as part of the definition of a competitive business suggests that franchisees are expected to offer these treatments or may face competition from businesses that do. It also indicates that C3 Wellness Spa considers these treatments to be a core part of its service offerings.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that offering topical skin treatments is likely a key component of operating a C3 Wellness Spa franchise. The franchisee should be prepared to invest in the necessary equipment, training, and products to provide these services. They should also be aware of local regulations and licensing requirements related to offering skin treatments.
