What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to C3 Wellness Spa's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the specific subjects covered in the initial training program are not listed. However, the document does state that a chart summarizing the subjects covered in the initial training program is included in Item 11.
Item 11 also mentions that the initial training program is for you or, if you are a Corporate Entity, your Managing Owner plus one designated manager. This training must be successfully attended and completed no later than 45 days prior to the opening of your C3 Wellness Spa franchise and takes place over an approximate two week period. The training will focus exclusively on the operation of the business, retail and back-office functions for an unlicensed franchisee. It will not include training that could be considered the practice of medicine.
The initial training program will be provided at facilities designated by C3 Wellness Spa, which currently includes their C3 Wellness location and a certified training C3 Wellness location, both in Kissimmee, Florida. Instructional materials include the brand's manuals, live instruction, and handouts. A portion of the training may be conducted virtually via an online training platform and would be completed prior to attending the in-person portion of the training program.
A prospective franchisee should carefully review Item 11 of the FDD for the chart summarizing the training subjects. If the FDD does not contain this chart, the prospective franchisee should ask the franchisor for a detailed outline of the topics covered during the initial training program to fully understand the scope of instruction provided.
