We are not required to spend any amount on your behalf on advertising in your designated territory and we are not required to conduct any advertising on behalf of the franchise System or on your behalf. (Franchise Agreement, Article 9);

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 C3 Wellness Spa Franchise Disclosure Document, C3 Wellness Spa is not required to conduct any advertising on behalf of the franchise system or its franchisees. However, C3 Wellness Spa may provide approved marketing templates for franchisees to use at their own expense.
Additionally, franchisees are required to spend a minimum of 2% of their monthly Gross Sales on local marketing for their spa location. All marketing materials and mediums used by franchisees must be pre-approved by C3 Wellness Spa. Franchisees must also submit a quarterly marketing plan to C3 Wellness Spa for review and approval no later than 60 days before each calendar year quarter.
C3 Wellness Spa may administer a brand development fund and may also establish local or regional advertising cooperatives in the future. If a cooperative is established in the franchisee's market, the franchisee will be required to participate and contribute, but the contribution will not exceed the local marketing requirement. C3 Wellness Spa also reserves the right to form, change, dissolve, or merge any advertising cooperative.
