What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to C3 Wellness Spa's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the practice does not have the right to commit the Manager to any obligations or liabilities. Any obligation incurred by the Practice is the sole responsibility of the Practice. The Practice will indemnify the Manager against any related Claims or Losses.
This means that as a C3 Wellness Spa franchisee, you operate independently concerning financial and legal responsibilities towards the Manager. You are responsible for your practice's obligations, debts, and liabilities. This protects the Manager from being held accountable for your business's actions or financial issues.
This arrangement is typical in franchise agreements, where franchisees maintain operational control and financial responsibility for their specific locations, while the franchisor provides the brand, system, and support. Franchisees should ensure they have adequate insurance and legal counsel to manage their liabilities and obligations effectively.
