What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to C3 Wellness Spa's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, C3 Wellness Spa does not offer financing for any portion of the initial franchise fee of $45,000. However, third party financing may be available for qualified candidates for some of the leasehold improvement costs. If a franchisee obtains third party financing, they will incur associated costs and fees which will cause the cost to exceed what is indicated in the chart.
For a prospective C3 Wellness Spa franchisee, this means they will need to secure full funding for the $45,000 initial franchise fee through their own resources or external financing options. While C3 Wellness Spa does not directly provide financing, the possibility of third-party financing for leasehold improvements can be a significant benefit, potentially easing the burden of the initial investment. Leasehold improvements are estimated to cost between $350,000 and $400,000.
However, franchisees should carefully consider the terms and costs associated with any third-party financing. The FDD explicitly states that such financing will come with associated costs and fees, increasing the overall investment. Therefore, it is crucial to evaluate the financial implications of financing versus paying out-of-pocket. Franchisees should also inquire with C3 Wellness Spa about recommended third-party financing providers or any preferred lending relationships they may have.
It is common in the franchise industry for franchisors not to directly finance the initial franchise fee, but to provide guidance or connections to third-party lenders. The availability of third-party financing for leasehold improvements is a positive aspect for prospective C3 Wellness Spa franchisees, but it requires careful evaluation to ensure it aligns with their financial situation and goals.
