Note 9: Annual Conference Attendance Fee – If we offer a franchisee annual conference in a given year you will be required to attend the conference on the dates and at the location that we designate. What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to C3 Wellness Spa's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company may charge franchisees an annual conference attendance fee. If C3 Wellness Spa offers an annual conference, franchisees are required to attend on the dates and at the location the company designates. Franchisees are responsible for all travel and lodging expenses associated with attending the conference.
The maximum amount C3 Wellness Spa can charge for the annual conference attendance fee is $1,500. The company also reserves the right to charge the annual conference fee to those franchisees that do not attend.
C3 Wellness Spa will not require franchisee attendance at an annual conference for more than three days during any calendar year. This fee is in addition to other fees outlined in Item 6, such as the royalty fee, brand development fund fee, and local marketing expenses.
