What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 C3 Wellness Spa Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are restricted regarding digital files containing the Operations Manual, Confidential Information, and other standards. Specifically, if a franchisee maintains or stores digital files or media containing all or parts of the Operations Manual, any Confidential Information, and all other standards and specifications of C3 Wellness Spa, they must immediately notify C3 Wellness Spa in writing.
Furthermore, the franchisee is required to turn over such digital files and media to C3 Wellness Spa and follow their instructions regarding the destruction of these files. This indicates that franchisees are not permitted to retain copies of documents containing Know-How or other confidential information in digital form.
This policy ensures that C3 Wellness Spa maintains control over its proprietary information and operational standards, reducing the risk of unauthorized disclosure or misuse. For a prospective franchisee, this means adhering strictly to the franchisor's guidelines on handling and storing digital information related to the franchise operations and being prepared to relinquish control of such information upon request.
