What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to C3 Wellness Spa's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Manager is responsible for furnishing and equipping the subleased space for the Practice's operations. Besides medical equipment, the Manager will provide all non-medical equipment, software, fixtures, office supplies, furniture, and furnishings. The Practice retains ultimate authority over all medical equipment used.

Additionally, the Manager may lease medical equipment to the Practice if the Practice deems it necessary to acquire new medical equipment, but the Manager can decline to purchase it outright. The Manager also has the responsibility of negotiating contracts with vendors for services, software, technology, equipment leases, supplies, and materials necessary for the Practice's operation, subject to the Practice's oversight and final approval.

This arrangement means that C3 Wellness Spa franchisees can expect the Manager to handle the provision of essential non-medical items and potentially lease medical equipment, reducing the initial capital outlay. However, the Practice retains the final say on medical equipment and must approve vendor contracts, ensuring some control over operational aspects. Franchisees should confirm the specific types and quality of non-medical equipment provided to ensure they meet their operational needs and budget expectations.
