C3_Wellness_Spa Franchise · 2024 FDDAnswer from 2024 FDD Document
If this is your first Spa Location Franchise, we will provide initial training for you or, if you are a Corporate Entity, your Managing Owner plus one designated manager. You, or your Managing Owner, plus your one designated manager must successfully attend and complete the initial training program to our satisfaction no later than 45 days prior to the opening of your Spa Location Franchise. The initial training program takes place over an approximate two week period. We typically schedule training four to six times a year and every eight to 12 weeks. If more than six individuals attend initial training, you will be charged an additional fee per additional persons attending initial training (Item 6). Although we provide you plus your general manager with initial training at no additional fee or charge, you will be responsible for paying for all travel expenses and employee wages that you incur in your initial training attendance and participation. (Franchise Agreement, Article 4). Currently, we provide our initial training program no less frequently than quarterly and on an as-needed basis. Training for an unlicensed franchisee will focus exclusively on the operation of the business, retail and back-office functions. It will not include training that could be considered the practice of medicine.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to C3 Wellness Spa's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if you are a new franchisee, you (or your Managing Owner if you are a corporation) and one designated manager must successfully complete the initial training program no later than 45 days before opening your C3 Wellness Spa location.
The initial training program typically lasts about two weeks. C3 Wellness Spa usually schedules these training sessions four to six times a year, roughly every eight to twelve weeks. While C3 Wellness Spa does not charge an additional fee for the initial training of the franchisee and one manager, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel expenses and employee wages incurred during training.
This requirement ensures that franchisees and their managers are adequately prepared to operate the spa according to C3 Wellness Spa's standards before they begin serving customers. Failing to meet this training deadline could delay the opening of the franchise and potentially impact revenue projections. Prospective franchisees should factor in these timelines and costs when planning their launch.
