Franchisor has the right to discontinue or reestablish the Marketing Fund upon sixty (60) days' advance notice to you.
In the event Franchisor discontinues the Marketing Fund, Franchisor will distribute all unspent amounts existing in the Marketing Fund on the date of discontinuance to franchisees in proportion to their respective contributions for the most recent six (6) months.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Buona's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Buona has the right to discontinue the Marketing Fund. Buona must provide franchisees with sixty (60) days' advance notice before discontinuing the Marketing Fund.
In the event that Buona discontinues the Marketing Fund, all unspent amounts existing in the Marketing Fund on the date of discontinuance will be distributed to franchisees. The distribution will be in proportion to each franchisee's contributions to the Marketing Fund for the most recent six (6) months.
This policy ensures that franchisees are informed well in advance of any changes to the Marketing Fund and that any remaining funds are returned to the franchisees based on their recent contributions, providing a measure of fairness and transparency in the management of the fund.
