What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Buona's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Buona retains specific rights regarding social media postings made by franchisees. While franchisees can participate in social media content related to their franchised business, this participation is subject to Buona's guidelines and standards.

Buona maintains the right to alter or delete any postings made by a franchisee. This control extends to all aspects of digital marketing related to the franchisee's business, unless Buona provides written consent otherwise. If a franchisee receives consent to engage in digital marketing, they must still adhere to Buona's guidelines and standards.

This level of control allows Buona to maintain brand consistency and manage its image across all social media platforms. It ensures that franchisees' online activities align with the overall marketing strategy and brand standards set by Buona.

For a prospective franchisee, this means that while they can contribute to social media efforts, Buona has the final say on what is posted and can make changes or remove content as they see fit. Franchisees should familiarize themselves with Buona's social media guidelines to ensure their postings comply with the franchisor's requirements.
