What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Buona's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering the costs of additional training. Buona may, at the franchisee's request, provide additional initial or ongoing training beyond what is normally provided.

If Buona provides this additional training, the franchisee must pay Buona the then-current training fees. The franchisee is also responsible for any travel and living expenses incurred by Buona's representative if travel to the franchisee's location is necessary for the additional training.

This means that if a franchisee requires extra training for themselves, their managers, or employees, they will incur additional costs. These costs include not only the training fees themselves but also any travel and accommodation expenses for the Buona trainers. Franchisees should factor these potential costs into their budget and consider the circumstances under which they might need or want to request additional training.
